Enjoy peace of mind with our comprehensive lifetime warranty. We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our jewellery, providing ongoing support and service to maintain its brilliance and integrity throughout its lifetime.

If you have any concerns about your jewellery, we recommend bringing the piece to our store or sending it back to us via post for inspection by our production team. Should your item be identified with a manufacturing defect, we'll repair or replace it accordingly.

However, if the damage is not attributed to a manufacturing fault, we'll provide guidance on our repair services. When purchasing diamond or gemstone jewellery, it's important to note that natural (or lab-grown) stones may contain inclusions, variations in color, size, shape, and other individual characteristics. During your consultation, our gemologists will discuss these details, and we pride ourselves on transparency by providing accurate information in line with GIA or IGI certificates. Such characteristics are not considered defects.

As creators of handcrafted jewellery, each item may exhibit minor inconsistencies or irregularities compared to others. These variations in craftsmanship do not constitute defects. Normal wear due to day-to-day activities and accidental trauma may affect jewellery. Our warranty does not cover repair, replacement, or refund for normal wear or stone loss. If you notice a loose stone, please bring in your jewellery for inspection.

Please note that our warranty doesn't extend to cover theft or loss.

Conditions of the Manufacturer’s Warranty

Please take note of the following additional conditions:

  • Mak & Co.’s Manufacturer’s Warranty is exclusively applicable to the item owner and specifically for Mak & Co.-crafted pieces.
  • Any modifications performed by jewellers other than Mak & Co. will render your warranty null and void.
  • It's essential to have your jewellery serviced by Mak & Co. at least once a year. Regular inspections can help prevent potential issues.
  • After any significant trauma to your jewellery, we recommend arranging an inspection as soon as possible. While the necessary repair might not be covered by the warranty, we'll guide you on the best course of action.
  • Our aftercare includes complimentary deep cleaning and a thorough checkup service for your item. We suggest availing of this service annually to preempt any issues.
  • Defects that arise while the item is in your possession are not covered. Discoloration due to exposure to certain chemicals, bending or catching of claws, or stone loss from loosened prongs are among the everyday issues that can occur. Complimentary Cleaning and Inspection Services for Diamond Rings

We highly recommend having your ring professionally cleaned and inspected annually or following any potential impact, such as a knock. These routine inspections can help prevent stone loss and prolong the life of your cherished jewellery. For all Mak & Co. customers based in the UK, this cleaning and inspection service is complimentary for their Mak & Co. pieces. While customers cover the shipping cost, including necessary insurance for the item's full value during transit, Mak & Co. covers the return shipping. Additionally, repairs to your ring mounting can be addressed during this service.
